According to Gabriel Aul from Microsoft, Windows Phones with 512MB of RAM will be able to run the operating system, even though it was uncertain if low-end devices might not be capable of running the preview.

On a Tweet, Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul said that the ability to rollback if you hit an issue is very important. However, it’s not clear whether it will be a feature available in the first preview for users.

However, it’s good to hear that Microsoft is paying attention and taking care of consumers by making available the Windows 10 on low-end phones and making sure that if something goes wrong, users will have a mechanism to remove the preview and go back to the previous version. Update: Microsoft confirms that Windows 10 preview for phones will include a recovery tool.
